This intensive retreat is particularly relevant to those teaching or training in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) or those who would like to use mindfulness in their work. The practice is deeply informed by the practice background of both of the experienced teachers and is offered in the spirit of our common humanity. People of all spiritual traditions or none are welcome to attend.
Each day will offer a sustained schedule of formal meditation practices (Chi kung, sitting, walking & loving kindness), talks and instruction and meetings with the teachers. Although the retreat will be held in silence, there will also be periods for engaging in the emergent individual and group process through sharing. Bring an attitude of curiosity, playfulness, inquisitiveness and honesty to encourage trust, openness and the inherent freedom of the heart.
